Frequently asked questions

Is the cropped content deleted?

Cropping adjusts the crop area (CropBox): the part outside the frame is no longer shown or printed. The content is not recompressed, just reframed.

Does it apply to every page?

Yes, the same margin percentages are applied to each page of the document.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Cropping happens in your browser via pdf-lib. The PDF never leaves your device.

Why set it in percent?

So the same setting works regardless of page size (A4, Letter…). 10% trims 10% of each page’s width or height on that side.
