Frequently asked questions
How does it work without installing a font?
The tool does not change the font: it replaces each letter with a Unicode character that looks bold, italic, etc. Since these are real characters, they display everywhere with nothing to install.
Why don’t some letters transform?
A few Unicode styles do not exist for every letter or digit (notably small caps or some script capitals). In those cases the tool keeps the original character to stay readable.
Is it compatible with Instagram, TikTok, Discord?
Yes. Since the result is standard Unicode text, you paste it into a bio, post, username or message. Rendering depends on the device fonts; most styles work everywhere.
Can screen readers read this text?
Not always well: some styles (math, combining strikethrough) are poorly spoken and can hurt accessibility. Reserve them for decorative headings, not essential content.
