Your hours and pay at a glance

Enter the start time, end time and break: the tool computes the hours worked in hours:minutes and decimal, then your daily and weekly pay.

  1. Enter the times

    Start, end and break minutes.

  2. Add the rate (optional)

    To compute pay.

  3. Set the days

    For the weekly projection.

Example: a typical day

Span8h30
Break60 min
Hours worked7h30 = 7.50 h
Pay (20/h)150
Week (×5 days)37.50 h — 750

Overnight shifts (end before start) are handled. Everything is computed locally, nothing is sent.

Frequently asked questions

How are the hours calculated?

Start time is subtracted from end time, then the break is removed. Example: 09:00 → 17:30 = 8h30, minus 1h break = 7h30, i.e. 7.50 h in decimal.

Are overnight shifts handled?

Yes. If the end time is earlier than the start time (e.g. 22:00 → 06:00), the tool automatically adds 24h to compute a positive 8-hour duration.

How is pay calculated?

Daily pay = decimal hours × hourly rate. With 7.50 h at 20/h, that is 150. Weekly pay multiplies this amount by the number of days worked you enter.

Decimal hours or hours:minutes?

Both are shown. Payslips often use decimal (7.50 h) while 7h30 is more readable. Beware: 7h30 = 7.50 h, not 7.30.
