Infill weight calculator

Model volume and infill → estimated filament weight.

  • Instant
  • Free
  • Private (processed locally)
  • No sign-up

ℹ️ Simplified estimate: weight ≈ volume × infill × density (walls not included → real weight a bit higher). 100% local.

Estimate a print’s weight

Enter the model volume, the infill and the material: the tool estimates the filament weight and approximate length.

The method

  • Weight ≈ volume × (infill ÷ 100) × density
  • PLA ≈ 1.24, ABS ≈ 1.04, PETG ≈ 1.27
  • Simplified estimate (walls excluded)
  • The slicer is the exact reference

Indicative estimate. 100% local calculation.

Frequently asked questions

How is weight estimated?

Weight ≈ volume × (infill ÷ 100) × density. E.g. 20 cm³ × 20% × 1.24 ≈ 4.96 g.

Why “estimate”?

The simplified formula ignores walls and solid top/bottom: the real weight is a bit higher.

Where do I find the model volume?

In your slicer or 3D software (often shown in cm³ or mm³).

Which material to pick?

Select PLA, ABS, PETG… density directly changes the weight.
