Frequently asked questions
How do I censor an area?
Drag the cursor (or finger) over the part to hide: it is pixelated immediately. Repeat on another area to censor several.
Is the masking reversible?
On the exported image, no: the original pixels are replaced by the mosaic, making the data unreadable. The Reset button restores the original until you leave the page.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser via the canvas — ideal to protect private data before sharing a screenshot.
What is the block size for?
The larger the blocks, the coarser the mosaic and the harder to reconstruct. Increase it for stronger censoring.
